Historical site No. 302. Naganeupseong Folk Village is village around Dongnae-ri, Seonae-ri and Namnae-ri Nagan-myeon Suncheon Jeolanamdo and fortress surrounding these by administrative district, total area of protected region is up to 67,490 pyung including 41,018 pyung inside fortress and 26,472 pyung to 50m outside fortress.

After appointed as historical site in June 14 1983, repair and restoration such as fortress repair 1,410m, Munlu-east gate, west gate, south gate restoration 3 buildings, Donghun Naea restoration 5 buildings, Pyungseokgyo Seokgu restoration 1 piece, Kaeksa restoration 1 building, Haeja restoration 1 piece, market place Nanjeon creation 8 buildings, public exhibition room 3 houses, private house repair 94 houses, private house removal compensation 98 houses, pavilion for Im Gyeong-Up governor's monument repair 1 building, folk art museum construction 1 building, traditional private house construction 4 buildings, traditional food store 2 buildings are carried out from 1984 to 2001 and got to take present appearance.

Houses appointed as important folk material are 9 houses like Park Ui-Joon's house (Appointed No. 92), Choi Chang-Ik's house (No. 97), Choi Sun-Joon's house (No. 98) in Dongnae-ri , Kim Dae-Ja's house (No. 95), Ju Du-Yeol's house (No. 96), Kim So-Ah's house (No. 99), in Seonae-ri, Yang Gyu- Cheol's house (No. 93), Lee Han-Ho's house (No. 94), Gwak Hyung-Doo's house (No. 100) in Namnae-ri, and Gaeksa Naganjikwan is managed as Jeolanamdo local tangible cultural properties No. 170, pavilion for Im, Gyeong-Up governor's monument as cultural asset material.

According to list of resident name on present resident registration in December 31 2004, total 85 families, 229 persons (Inside fortress 63 families 179 persons, outside 22 families 50 persons) reside including Dongnae-ri 36 families 114 persons (Outside fortress 7 families 18 persons), Seonae-ri 11 families 11 persons (Outside fortress 2 families 3 persons), Namnae-ri 38 families 93 persons (Outside fortress 13 families 29 persons). Inside fortress, there are about 300 ~ 600 years old 32 trees, 15 trees (Ginkgo 3, Zelkova 1, Nettle Tree 6, Aphananthe aspera 3, Carpinus tschonoskiiMax 2) among them are appointed as local monument and managed.
