For the purpose
of festival function, cooperation and union of the resident through
finding and reproduced play of our original traditional folk play
and times and seasons customs handed down from ancient times, every
15th of the first lunar month, memorizing event of Im, Kyung Up governor
and each kind of folk play contest handed down in the province is
held in Naganeupseong Folk Village.
As representative play, dividing Naganeupseong into east side
and west side, pulling the rope as Daedongnori with Nongaknori, it
is believed that winning side has a good harvest as well as the peace
of village in the year.
Giving folk cultural experience and educational effect to the growing
young, developing times and seasons customs getting forgotten as cultural
products, for the purpose of making a chance to inform the tourists
visiting Naganeupseong of the excellence of our folk culture,
in every 15th of the first lunar month, Lunar January Big Full Moon
Festival is held.
